Cistanche is a herb revered in Traditional Chinese Tonic Herbalism for it’s ability to improve performance (and size) in the bedroom, giving it the nicknames ‘Cistanche in Your Pants’ and ‘Stalk Enlarger.’
It improves male sexual performance and fertility by multiple mechanisms which also carry over to enhanced exercise performance and recovery, such as by increasing Testosterone and Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) production. Men who use it for more than a few weeks were said to have improved sexual prowess.
In TCM, Cistanche was used to tonify the Kidneys and restore Yang Jing, restore blood and moisten the bowels. It was used to treat both male and female infertility and enhance the flow of yang energy and blood flow to the genitals.
